As a supporter of the environment, It has been encouraging to follow Greta Thunberg, the Swedish teenage activist who has been speaking out about the ways that we are mistreating our planet and challenging our governments to take action and encouraging young people to speak up. It’s also disheartening to see the cruelty that people, especially some of our politicians in the U.S., are displaying towards her. The world needs more heroes like Greta! To honor her as well as make a tongue-and-cheek reference to the Make America Great Again slogan popularized by our president, I created this t-shirt design.
