Skate Or Die?
Although a lot of my friends that I hung out with in high school skateboarded, I never really caught the bug. I was still a fan, but I spent most of the time taking pictures from a safe distance.
As an adult, I actually acquired some ramps and for a couple of years operated a weekly pop-up skatepark at my church for kids in the neighborhood. The ramps are long gone now, but I still occasionally enjoy watching skateboarders defy gravity…from a safe distance of course!
